To do this, head to your organization settings. You can change your path settings under the Organization details section:
It is important to understand that changing your path will affect everyone in your organization who uses Avion. Therefore, before changing this, we recommend you communicate in advance with the rest of your team to let them know that the URL they use to access Avion is going to change.
Your old organization path will not be reserved and will be released back into the pool of available paths for other organizations to use. Therefore, you should change this with caution, as we cannot guarantee a previously used path will remain available to you again in the future.
Redirects will not be applied to any URLs that use your previous organization path. This means any links with references to your old path will break and you will need to manually update these with your new path in order to fix them. This includes but is not limited to:
Your Avion sign-in URL
Public share links (including embedded iframes)
Attachment URLs that are created with integrations, such as Jira and Azure DevOps
Finally, any currently active sessions within your team will be forcefully ended and every user will need to sign in again using the new organization path to carry on where they left off. This is quite a disruptive experience, so we recommend changing your path at a time when you know there will be little activity within your organization.
For the above reasons, we do not recommend this is changed regularly, in order to prevent confusion, reduce disruption and ensure a positive experience for your team
Please make sure you understand this fully before changing your organization path and feel free to contact our support team if you have any further questions.
