# Permissions required

To integrate with Jira Cloud, you will need **Jira Administrator** and **Project Administrator** permissions. This guide will explain how to add both of these permissions to a user from the Jira Cloud interface.

### Making a user a Jira Administrator

Head to [https://admin.atlassian.com](https://admin.atlassian.com/), locate your organization and click **Manage users**

Find the user under the user list and click **Show details**

Ensure the user has their roles setup as follows — particularly the **Roles** and the **Groups** sections:

### Making a user a Project Administrator

Whilst viewing your project, click **Project settings** from the left-hand side navigation

Click **People** from the left-hand side navigation

Click **Add people**, find the relevant user and assign to them the Administrators role
