# Mapping custom fields

As mentioned in [Additional data syncing](https://help.avion.io/docs/integrations/backlog-tools/services/jira-cloud/additional-data-syncing), you are also able to sync other meta data associated with stories in Avion — such as size, step name, journey name and release name — depending on your epic choice setup.

This process is different depending on whether you are using a "company-managed" or "team-managed" Jira project. Please find the right section for your Jira project.
